Note: Copy the installation program (not the terminal folder or terminal.exe!) and copy it to the desktop (not to any folder on the desktop). **2.** Right-click on it and select "**Run as client (UAC)** ". ![How to install your MT terminal on an FXTrade account? - 1](https://my.forex-box.com/images/kb/asclient.png) **3.** If a window for entering the administrator password appears, click "no" in it. **4.** If you are installing a single terminal or terminals from different brokers, simply follow the on-screen instructions. Usually, there is no need to change anything, just click "Next". **4.1 If you are installing a second copy of the terminal from the same broker** : **1)** First, save (rename) the existing shortcut on the desktop for launching the already installed terminal. **2)** Before starting the installation, click the "Settings" button and specify a new folder name to avoid overwriting the existing installation: ![How to install your MT terminal on an FXTrade account? - 2](https://my.forex-box.com/images/kb/mt4-setup-settings.png) For example, if the first terminal is installed in "C:\\\Users\\\Uxxxx\\\AppData\\\Roaming\\\Metatrader - Alpari limited", you can install the second copy in "C:\\\Users\\\Uxxxx\\\AppData\\\Roaming\\\Metatrader - Alpari limited 2" by simply adding a digit to the end of the default path (it is recommended NOT to use Russian letters in folder names). **Important:** Do not attempt to install the terminal in**_**C:\\\program files\\\xxx**_** ,_**_**C:\\\program files (x86)\\\xxx**_** ,_**_C:\\\ProgramData\\\xxx_ **, and other system paths! The only places where you can install terminals are**_C:\\\Users\\\Uxxxx\\\AppData\\\Roaming\\\terminal-name_ **or**_C:\\\Users\\\Uxxxx\\\Desktop\\\terminal-name_ **(replace**_Uxxxx_ **with your username). Attempting to install in other directories will result in an "Access Denied" error. **5.** After the first run, MetaTrader will create its "**Data Directory** ", where you can install necessary advisors, indicators, scripts, and other additions for MT4/MT5. Switch the language of the installed terminal to Russian in the "_**View**_ " menu -> "_**Language**_ ". **6.** **Important:** Be sure to **set up auto-start** for the installed terminal. **7.** Alternative installation option by copying the terminal: **1.** Install the required MT4/MT5 terminal on your computer (!) in a separate folder, for example, C:\\\MT4; **2.** Copy the folder (right-click on the folder - "copy"); **3.** "Paste" the folder on the server's desktop (!) (right-click on free space on the desktop - "Paste"); **4.** The copied terminal is ready to use.
